NOSEY OFFICE MATCH: Be a detective, be snoopy the day before your Christmas party by secretly going around to each person's desk and snatched one item off of their desk. Pick a personal object to uniquely idenify that individual. At the party, organize by laying everything out on a table each item assigning them with a number. Everyone has to figure out which item came from who's desk! It is a total crack up to see who actually stays at their desk and works and who spends most of their days wandering around everyone else's office!
This Christmas game is another way of playing Blind Man's Buff, and is thought by many to be an improvement on that game. The player who is blindfolded stands in the center of the room, with a long paper wand, which can be made of a newspaper folded up lengthways, and tied at each end with string. The other players then join hands and stand round him in a circle. Some one then plays a merry tune on the piano, and the players dance round and round the blind man, until suddenly the music stops; the blind man then takes the opportunity of lowering his wand upon one of the circle, and the player upon whom it has fallen has to take hold of it. The blind man then makes a noise, such as, for instance, the barking of a dog, a street cry, or anything he thinks will cause the player he has caught to betray himself, as the captive must imitate whatever noise the blind man likes to make. Should the blind man detect who holds the stick, the one who is caught has to be blind man; if not, the game goes on until he succeeds. At the end of the game all players caught by the blind man should receive a party favor, gift, or prize to celebrate the Christmas holiday. It is best if the players do not know about the prize until the end of the game.
You can play this game to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Chose two of the players to sit down, and use a cloth, large enough to prevent the player from seeing anything, and put it over their heads. Then two other persons tap them on the head with long rolls of paper or any other long soft item, which they have in their hands, and ask, in feigned voices, "Who visits you for this Christmas holiday?" If either of those who have been tapped answers correctly, he changes places with the one who has tapped him. If a lot of players join this Christmas game, it makes it more difficult to guess who is tapping. When the game ends, prizes, gifts, and party favors should be given to all players of the Christmas game.
