WHO IS HE (SHE)? After all the guest have arrived, hand out envelopes. The boys are given blue envelopes, the girls white ones. In all the envelopes, there are halves of the cards and a note with the following text: "In the envelope there is a half of the card. Try using cards with the pictures of flowers in this game. Cut the cards in a zigzag line. The missing part of it has someone who is present here. Try to find him/her. The first 3 pairs get prizes.
This is a fun and silly game that can be played on Flag Day. To play this game it is best to sit in a circle, and until the end of the game no one must speak above a whisper.
The first player whispers a question to his neighbor, such as: "Do you like roses?" This question now belongs to the second player, and he must remember it.
The second player answers: "Yes, they smell so sweetly," and this answer belongs to the first player. The second player now asks his neighbor a question, taking care to remember the answer, as it will belong to him. Perhaps he has asked his neighbor, "Are you fond of potatoes?" and the answer may have been, "Yes, when they are fried!"
So that the second player has now a question and an answer belonging to him, which he must remember.
The game goes on until every one has been asked a question and given an answer, and each player must be sure and bear in mind that it is the question he is asked, and the answer his neighbor gives, which belong to him.
At the end of the game each player gives his question and answer aloud, in the following manner:
"I was asked: 'Do you like roses?' and the answer was: 'Yes, when they are fried!'" The next player says: "I was asked: 'Are you fond of potatoes?' and the answer was: 'Yes, they are very pretty, but they don't wear well. This game can be used with silly phrases or phrases that relate only to Flag Day. Party decorations, party supplies, and party favors can help entertain guests during the game.
This is a fun game that can be used on Flag Day. All players form in a straight line. Each player holds a flag that they have found or they have made prior to the start of the game. While holding the flag, each player grasps just above the ankles of the player in front of them. On "Go," the line of players holding flags and ankles runs a very short distance and returns to the starting position. Each player has to keep hold above ankles and the flag at all the time. If a person drops their flag or lets go of the ankles, they are out. The game continues until one person is the Flag Day flag holding winner. This is a silly game that takes coordination. Fun to play any day of the year, especially Flag Day.
