Mardi Gras Decorations

Mardi Gras begins on January 6th and ends on Fat Tuesday, forty-seven days before Easter. People celebrate the holiday with a "carnival-like" atmosphere and glittery, extravagant party decorations.  Mardis Gras is the celebration and partying before the beginning of Lent fasting.
