RING THE HAND BELL: For this Presidents Day party game put a hand-bell on the chair or on the stump (if you are in the forest). The player stands with his/her back to the hand-bell. He/she is blindfolded. He/she walks 10 steps forwards. There he/she is turned around for 2-4 times. Then the player must come back to the hand-bell and ring it. The player who manages to ring the bell gets a point. This Presidents Day game may be played in teams as well as individually.
This is a fun way to celebrate President's Day. The children divide their group in half. One half of the group is the audience and the other half of the group are the President's. Each member from the group of President's has to find items around the house that can be used to dress like a President. When their outfits are created, they must have one sentence that describes the President they are pretending to be. Once all of the children are ready, they present their sentence to the audience and the audience has to guess which Presidents the other children have pretended to be. Once all of the Presidents have been guessed, the children switch sides and the audience becomes the Presidents.

This game can be used as a fun way to inform children about President's Day. One child goes out of the room. An item representing a former President is placed in plain sight by another child. The one who was sent out is then guided to the object by the clapping of the children—soft clapping for "cold," and louder for "warm." The warmer or louder the clapping, the close the child is to the object. When the child finds the object, they must state which President the object is related to and why the object is related to that President. When the child has given the correct answers a new child is sent outside and another object is placed in plain sight.
