WHO IS HE (SHE)? After all the guest have arrived, hand out envelopes. The boys are given blue envelopes, the girls white ones. In all the envelopes, there are halves of the cards and a note with the following text: "In the envelope there is a half of the card. Try using cards with the pictures of flowers in this game. Cut the cards in a zigzag line. The missing part of it has someone who is present here. Try to find him/her. The first 3 pairs get prizes.
This can be a fun game to play on Veteran's Day. Old Soldier is a game for young children, and though it seems very simple, yet there is a good deal of fun in it. One of the children pretends to be an Old Soldier, and goes round begging of each of the other players in turn, saying that he is "poor, and old, and hungry," and asking what they will do for him or give him. In answering the Old Soldier, no one must say the words: "Yes," "No," "Black," or "White," and he must be answered at once without hesitation. Any one who does not reply at once, or who uses any of the forbidden words, must pay a forfeit and sit out of the game until a new one begins.

This is an entertaining game that can be played on Veteran's Day. The players join hands to form a circle. About ten erasers are placed in the center of the circle, with spaces between them through which a player might step. The players then try by means of pushing or pulling their comrades by means of clasped hands, to make them knock over the erasers. Any player who knocks over an eraser or who unclasps hands must take his seat, the erasers again being replaced. The first players so leaving the circle form a scrub circle. The player wins who remains longest in the first circle. The winner gets a prize or some sort of party favor for staying in the circle the longest.
